Clay and I wanted to stay connected to all of you and thought that creating this blog we could inform you on how the Mankins are doing.
As many of you know Clay and I have been desiring to start a family for awhile. I often had doubts and many tears thinking this was not going to happen.
On Clay's last day of school I took a pregnancy test and then another one before I believed that yes- I was pregnant! Clay was Super excited when he happened on the positive tests!
I went to the doctor in May and couldn't believe it when the doctor told me we that there was 2 in there! What a surprise and blessing! Clay couldn't believe it when I told him. He kept saying, "Is she sure, is she sure, is she sure?!"
I have been back to the doctor 2 more times and have gotten to see our babies grow and even move! I got to see the evidence that God knits us together in the womb!
I am currently 13 weeks and 2 days and can't wait for the little ones to be here!
I have been feeling pretty sick though have not gotten physically sick. I am also tired... pretty much all the time.
Clay has been working hard with a construction group as well as doing NC football camp and open gym. He has been doing a great job providing for us.
